Are non-CoC Wand builds still a thing?

Im trying to figure out a Physical Damage based shadow wander and i'd like to know if im wasting my time or if this could actually work.
Is Ele wander still a thing as well? I just hate how crazy CoC is and how much crap it puts on the screen...more annoying then cool to me. |

Depends on you. You wanna do it, then go ahead and do it. :)
If i ever asked others if i should make a certain build then i wouldnt have a single one. Theres lots of wand nodes on the witch part of the tree and i have seen some epic phys wands linked in global. |

CI can get super expeisive...Cloak Of Defiance is too popular now to get cheap (and be a 5-link +). Acrobatics might be good...but reflect would be a major bitch >.< And all the Defence options save CI have me spreading out my points too far :I Figuring out this builds passive tree/build plan if proving very hard |

you need a heck of a wand, to make it towards late-game - but Power Siphon is one of my favourite skills nonetheless. it's almost like Culling Strike and Power Charge On Crit, rolled into one.
and you can try Barrage too. I heard it's extremely fun with a wand. Alva: I'm sweating like a hog in heat

Physical wanders have actually never been stronger. Latest expansion has made crafting wands significantly easier and wand nodes probably got the biggest buff in the passive skilltree.
