Even at 50% off I think most things are still way too expensive.
Ascension tied to Lab is the worst thing GGG has done...apart from GGG's philosophy on Trading. Oh and Gambling Loot boxes. And selling out to tencent.
I used to love GGG. I supported to ensure GGG remained independent, now I just wish I could get my money back. -_- | |

so the real "this guy supported ggg by spending x amount of money" value of any of those microtransactions just got lowered to 50%. so from now on is it now worth spending money on anything that isn't reduced by half?

Effects in PoE have always been way too expensive. even at 50% prices are a joke. Learn something from steam.. the best way to increase sales on virtual goods is to lower prices. They have shown that huge price cuts actually result in exponentially more gross sales than normal sales prices, and even moderately reduced sales prices. I'm not paying 10-15 bucks for a weapon glow (and thats the sale price for some of them) but if they were each maybe 5 bucks, im sure i would have spent a lot more on PoE than i have already.
