Does not work on rares/uniques which is what you use puncture for. For melee knockback is better, for ranged you don't need it at all and it would be a wasted support even if it had a high chance of working(which it doesn't).


and to add insult to injury the "flee time" is really short. so basically no help at all.

it's got my vote as the most worthless gem.


As someone who actually had a melee puncture build I add my vote to the total.

the fact that it _immediately_ restores life and mana makes it quite good, and especially useful when there are summoners or retches in the vicinity.

I have 3 EK's, and 3 arcs set to go off on death. There's probably better setups though. It's not optimized like I've seen others use.

Punishment if very effective on my summon raging spirit high level pvp'er. With CWDT, when punishment procs alongside someone attacking 10 SRS's at the same time, it's usually instadeath for them.

Interesting post. Albeit from September it adds useful information about pvp.

Now that pvp is in the game it's time to take a new look at the weakest and least used gems in the game.

Perhaps revise the top 3. I have a feeling punishment is quite useful in pvp like this guy above claims. Is this correct?
