Armour + Evasion for defence?

Hi, is there a working build using armour + evasion as a defensive mechanism without Iron Reflexes?

emphasize armor when buying armor.

run grace.

the trick is that if you are any kind of phy damage build, bow or melee, you need to run hatred.

so that's 2 60% auras.

This leaves you very little mana, and you need to account for that.

Use either mana leech (but you need a large mana pool for this to be effective), or more commonly, blood magic, to run your attack skills.

If for some reason you are doing armor/evasion with an Archer Duelist, you'll get a rather large multiplier for your evs (naturally by getting bow/archery nodes in the passive tree). Its not very difficult to max out your proj. evade chance with Ondar's Guile. Rarely you'll ever be in a situation to be hit with melee phys with king of the hill as well.

Its very viable but you need to have some gear set aside or prepare to run auras for max effect of using both armor and evasion.
