Guild stash wiped clean

"
Apparently OP has never been a guild leader before.

Restrict as much access as possible.

Trust, or believe no one. (assume everyone is a thief)

If you put anything in a guild stash with free access it's meant to be taken by anyone who wants it.

Hopefully Op learned a lesson. And no GGG staff will not help you.

What youre saying is, dont make a guild and play solo.

What they are saying is to operate as if you had some common sense, which op clearly does not.

No you could assume everyone in the neighborhood was the murderer. Again going back to his main point reasoning needs some work.

No.

If you knew for a fact that the murderer were 1 of 17 specific people, would you be certain to not interact with any of the 17? It really makes a huge difference.

His was a failed analogy.

Only on the internet will people compare something in a free to play game to real life murder.
It's life and death, Dirk!
So, is there a reason why GGG can't add a log for the Guild Master to see who added/removed items? It seems fairly trivial and would prevent the social tension when someone anonymously betrays the trust that was put into them. It's not a good climate when you have a group of people all suspecting each other of wrong-doing.

Yes, yes, it's Wraeclast, we're exiles, everyone for himself, blah blah. But it's also a video game people play for recreation and, perhaps, friendly social interaction.
So, after reading this thread, the only logical conclusion:

OP shouldn't run a Guild, and is obviously not a good Guild leader.

I'll make sure I add that to the "Guilds never to join due to failed leadership" right next to your "Marked guildies as spammer" List.

Gotcha. Thanks.
It's better to be Lucky, than Good

Are you sure it wasn't all picked by someone that happened to need all of it for leveling? :-P
Now that you probably kicked him he won't be able to return it! XD
