Biometrics can't happen soon enough.
The paranoid part of me is worried about that, but the geeky side of me wants an eye scanner on desktop so badly.

I wonder why it never spread, fingerprint scanners are really cheap and should be easy to implement software-wise too
My friend had one of those laptops with a built-in fingerprint scanner.
We fooled it with a jelly baby, on the second try. I suspect part of the reason it didn't spread is the ones they were using weren't that secure.
