Constant crashing on loading screens
My game crashes frequently when loading into a new area. Sometimes I get an error message popup box in Windows with the title "Exception". Could this possibly be due to my lack of RAM? I only have 2GB RAM (my motherboard's maximum capacity) and according to my task manager, PoE usually uses about 1.5GB physical memory.
I run the game on maximum settings (minus Bloom) at 1600x900 and usually get 50-60 fps in combat. These are my system specs. AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 6000+ 3ghz GeForce GTS 250 1GB 2GB RAM IGN: EmpathicAmoeba Last edited by DavosTheOnionKnight on Feb 5, 2013, 6:22:42 AM

Ive had the same issue, until i realized that all the crashes were exceptions in wrap_oal
running with the --nosound switch removed ALL crashes. My graphics chip is an onboard SoundMax HD on a asus extreme rampage II latest drivers. |

Does that mean you can't play with sound?

" There is a bug in the game, which prevents people with some sound cards (creative and soundmax possibly others) to play game with sound. You can try to launch the game with --nosound parameter, and you'll see if you can get ingame. Also your motherboard should be able to handle at least 4GB RAM |
