faster attack gem and frenzy charge help pls

Hi,

So, i have faster attack gem and i also use frenzy attack.
Frenzy attack gives +20% attack speed and my faster attack gem gives +25% attack speed.
Doesn't this mean that my attack should have 45% ou near that?
or are these two incompatible?

they should add up. just put them in your gear in connected slots and watch the frenzy attack speed values while you have charges on.
