Any way to improve AMD performance?

cialis or extenze should do the trick
I made a short video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HeIQ2DTOAL8

AMD FX-6100
MSI R9 270x
8gb RAM

Game is on a HDD but ShaderCache is linked to a SSD. It runs pretty good in 1080p with max. graphic settings even if i record in 1080p.

So i don't understand your problems with 2 videocards.

AMD is fine. Stop trying to run Xfire.

AMD? Go use nvidia.

The Nvidia fanboy hyperbole always makes me laugh. AMD's gpu's and their drivers have been solid for a number of years now, and Nvidia is not immune to issues.
Educated and experienced PC enthusiasts don't slam AMD gpu's. Doing so shows you aren't too tech savy and don't know what you're talking about.

Fact is PoE doesn't run perfect. Has little to nothing to do with AMD.

Your complaint is likely do to something else, but not AMD's gpu's.
Heck I'm on a 7870 Myst ( Tahiti core) and have no complaints. It's literally the same thing as somewhere between a R9270 and R9280, so no reason to upgrade at 1080p.

Whether your a AMD fan or a Nvidia fan means nothing , ususaly a problem like this is in the pairing of the CPU / mother board / GUP . And yes PoE is ALOT harder for some set ups thares no denieing that, the simpile fact is some set up just have problems with this game .

P.S. be carfull to the guy who is messing with voltage on ram , it's like 90% of the time a bad idea to fuck with that but sometimes it can help. Personaly iv never had any luck with that .
Just a sec let me grab a beer...@#*@ Ok how did I die this time

Learn the rules, it's the only way to exploit them.
Same for me, even with the game on a ramdisk the game stutters a lot, and I start to get 20 FPS in areas at times even with a Radeon 7890 and an i7 CPU.
My AMD card had all kinds of issues with PoE. I swapped to Nvidia and everything runs smooth. Just my personal experience.
Don't forget to drink your milk 👌

What card did you go with? I really did not want to change GPU but since this is the game I am spending most time on, I at least need it to be playable.

Sure with GGG would chime in on if they ever plan on improving AMD performance.

AMD cpu is the culprit here.

Never, ever use one.

Intel laptop cpus are stronger than AMD desktop ones, and at half the power usage too.

Bullsh**!

This is no bullshit at all. AMD (desktop) CPU's are way behind Intel (desktop) CPU's, that has been proven often enough, just use Google. Never get deceived by numbers, it's more about architecture. Currently, Intel's just better.

It's, however, different at video cards. AMD video cards are certainly not bad or much worse than Nvidia ones and have a way better price-performance ratio, especially mid end cards.
GGG tried to talk to AMD about the performance problems in the past, but they never got an answer, so far I know.

You're referring to benchmark numbers. In practice for a gamer the difference is nearly non existent. In most cases literally non existent as the game and settings played at will be GPU bound.
So yes, for gaming it is bullshit.

Who cares if and AMD cpu in a cpu bound scenario does 85 fps while Intel does 105. On paper Intel is zomgbbqbetter. In reality it really doesn't matter.
9/10 you're not cpu bound, and when cpu does matter...the FX-8350 for example is more than adequate.
Yes Intel is better.
Does it matter for gaming? Most likely no.

That's nonsense! I don't talk about benchmark numbers but real gaming performance!
In most games, Intel CPU's perform way better. And if benchmarks show GAMING PERFORMANCE, they are predicative. Ever played a game like Planetside 2? You will be fucked there even with an new AMD CPU, and that's not the only example.

It's quite official that AMD(CPU) is currently not the best for gaming. And it'll be noticed sometimes.
And yes, even in graphic intensive games, the CPU can become the bottleneck in certain situations. Especially the minimum FPS wil be way better with an Intel CPU, also on graphic intensive games. In my opinion, the minimum frames are very important. I don't like big frame dropes in games and I notice them most time.

Even Dual Core Intel CPU's are most time better than AMD's quad or octa cores, at least at gaming.

It's noticable!
