Spell brightness

I really love flame totem and the animation is really cool the first 2 hours, but after that it really starts hurting my eyes :( Is there some way i can reduce brightness or smth for flame totem without screwing with the rest of the game ? Like a text file i can edit or smth :?

I guess I'll have to fiddle with monitor options and screw up the rest of the screen too :|
