Is it just me or are Maps rarer than ever? (1.2)

I bought a bunch of lvl70 maps thinking I was just having bad luck but now I'm back to 60s. I chiseled, added vaal fragments and rolled them well to only get 0 maps in most of them.

Maps have only gotten massively easier to maintain with the latest expansion. Zana and cartographers make it complete easy mode.

I assume you got unlucky over a few maps but it's really easy to maintain. Been running all my highest maps consistently and any badluck is remedied by Zana.

Zana just adds 8% at most to maps or is there something else?

She frequently appears in maps which means you get to run an additional map within a map. These maps have actually become the main way I have progressed into high maps.

She also provides a daily quest assuming you have her in your hideout. Currently she lets me run level 73 maps as her daily quest. Within her daily quests she has a daily that requires you to find a map. This pretty much means you have a 100% chance to get a mapdrop from that daily.

I also didn't mention other masters. Many provide additional enemies or separate zones(haku) that also give additional chances to get maps.

I've run 50+ maps and have only seen her a few times. Are there certain maps she appears in?

It's still RNG and it wont make a huge difference. I've ran 5 75 maps, all chiseled with good rolls with 0 map drop in a row.

It's the usual variance. Yesterday my mapping was awful, getting no maps from deadly ~100% ones, today I've already doubled the 71 & 72 pool.

Even if GGG did / would slightly nerf droprates, Zana helps a lot. I've had some insane drops in her maps, on top of her guaranteed missions.

What level map, does Zana end up selling btw?

I have her at lvl 5 now and she's selling a few 69 (2 alc blue, 3 alc rare). Totally not worth it, as sustaining sub 70 is a joke. She prob. sells even higher maps at higher lvl, but everything will be way overpriced, compared to trading (and youll be doing 78s, when she sells 71s).

ok, I was hoping she would be offering 75's or something at one point at a reasonable price. Prolly not.
