Sudden Freeze then DC

I have an above average pc, running atleast 90-110 fps at all times, but recently I get these hard STOPS, as in my game locks up / freezes and I can do anything, then it suddenly pops back and DC's me, REMOVING MY PORTAL, so I can't pick up where I was thrown off.
What is causing this? is there a fix for it? is it pc or game related? | |

Check to see if there are any events related to PathOfExile in the Windows Event viewer/log at the time you experience one of these "freezes".
Sounds to me like your video driver is crashing. | |

Well, just reinstalled my gfx driver .. still doing it.

" re-installing the driver doesn't necessarily fix it from crashing if it is the hardware that is causing the crash. That's why I asked to see the Windows Event log. It should contain more details. This is a problem especially with over-clocked cards, or cards with incorrect timings set (either by the manufacturer, or the user). Often times, these can be corrected by under-clocking the card slightly to improve stability. | |

Hey again, nothing showed in the event viewer, but what did fix it was reinstalling PoE .. probably some corrupted files.
