Odd Occurence whilst playing Win 8.1

Ok thanks, was worth checking after the crazy things that were happening the other night i thought when it started to get a little off again, doesn't cost anything to just run a quick check.

Ok, im having this problem BIGTIME again, when it happens i hear beeps from windows, my keys wont work, my spells on mouse keep casting, my mouse does move me but for a few seconds no keyboard commands register, i cannot portal out, but i can i identify items if i go through processs using the mouse.

I did a longer run with this program but i accidently close it before i could copy and paste (derp).

I have no idea what is going on, i think maybe it has something to do with my keyboard seeming like its being unplugged because for the first time this just happened out of game, i was in chrome but didn't get any message and it is the exact same sound as when I unplug my keyboard or mouse manually.

The keyboard is an old mac keyboard but has worked fine with for a long time. If anyone can help this is stopping me playing :(

Ok, so, i think it might have been something to do with the power settings for the usb in windows 8 bugging out, i read how to set it from balanced to high power setting and after doing so i have not had these symptoms again, though i did go a few days without them after the last time i experienced this weirdness.

Fingers crossed i will drop by if it happens again, i dont understand it, if the new results mean anything pls let me know thankyou!
