Spectre diversity isn't very good. Most creatures are rubbish as allies. This leads to a spectre hunt for the few good ones. I remember when burning miscreations used to actually burn enemies. If you rolled a high level map with "inhabited by demons" you were set.
But Atom, do take note, Burning Miscreation have been nerfed due to their burning DMG is too high in the past.
In the end, it leaves us Spectres summoner to other scarce options if not those that can be found in convenient spot.

I am not that far in Rampage league yet. But from my observations, there seems to be AI change to some Spectres, so maybe try different ones out?
I know Devourers now attack much more often, unlike in the past, where they just stand there and rarely attack if they were your minion.
Also there is a buff to the Spectre gem, I think it was a 10% across the board buff or something.

Jepp. Sentinels are fairly common in Temple if I'm not mistaken and there was another map that had them as signature mob (I guess Shrine?). Evangelists should be in Villa and Residence at least.

But whenever you log out you drop back to your old spectres. There were summoners that didn't log out for days just because they got spectres from a lvl77 map or so.

The real issue is that, in high end maps, the Spectres are prone to death in few hits notably in Atziri.
You won't have an opened high lvl Maps to resummon them again.

That is why regardless Snapshot has been removed, Spectres summoner can still feel being inside the Snapshot era. Once you have logout, you go to spend few minutes to find your specific spectres when you are going to play again.
Doesn't matter where you find your spectres in high level maps, they can't tank high end maps or perhaps certain low level maps. Especially those map with boss dealing high AOE dmg.

i think for atziri you only bring bubble buddy specters so you can sometimes hide from her spam.

The biggest threat to Summons is just the Flameblast. Summoner's character defense in Atziri is not the question mark but its is the survivability of minions.
For Zombies and Spectres summoner, if you are unable to keep them alive to buy time for you to resummon back the dead ones, your build is not legit for Atziri.
Thats the simplest summary on Zombie and Spectres fate.

Well, of course any summoner can follow some rich player build that basically have the expense of 200 exalts to make the difference.

yeah i am too poor to do that , 5 exa is my budget cap for any build so i keep costs down.


and all of that is going into the chest armor and the 3 shields i need to farm atziri.
I don't think specters need a buff because of a single fight and every build needs to have it's flaw. Summoners shine in map clearing but have a lower survivablity in boss fights.

I think that specters need to be saved on logout. If GGG sees them as a temp minion then they should just get rid of the life nodes on the tree and put a time limit on the life of the specters. The process of finding your minions everytime is tedious and a repetitive process that has become necessary for any summoner. What is worse is that only a few minions are ever used. So maybe they should just make gems that summon specific specters or fix it by making the specter level based on gem level instead of map. No other builds suffer power penalties for going outside of their level so why should a summoner? There are plenty of other penalties for playing in lower level maps.
