I think is kind of weird using LMP with ethereal knives. I do feel that split arrow works much better since I do not have to socket ethereal knives with lmp.

LMP is not for EK. It is used for Tornado Shot (more tornados)

But inevitably the lmp will be link to ek which reduce the damage so i find it very weird for you to use tornado shot.

Tooltip is at 300 dps, but all ek coc builds have this. They still do tons of damage. The tooltip is liying there. You see what I mean in the video.

Have you tried using pierce or increased crit chance? They should be better than physical projectile damage and faster attacks.

Faster Attacks is a must have.
It adds sooooo much dps.
I thought about replacing Physical Projectile dmg with increased crit chance/dmg. I´ll have to tr< that ... recoloring a 5 link is not that fun :P

I've never played bows before. What kind of bow would you use? a rare or would a lioneye glare work good? I've got some stuff in my standard stash I could respec to and was thinking just this idea (tornado and CoC).

I'd imgaine eventually a crafted bleed on hit bow would be pretty slick from Tora.

Could you link gear or what you think would be your ideal gear setup.
Thanks!

also, I see a path or 2 that can be optimized. For instance you can take the dex node above Ondar's Guile and remove the 2 next to Herbalism. You now have -10dex and another point to spend elsewhere.

Thanks for the tip, I´ll look into it.
For Bows, I havent thought about uniques right now .... it is not necessary, but might add some nice dps.

Bowtype? I take the one with high attackspeed and crit :P

Changed the thing with the points. Going to respec soon :P

VIDEO UP. It might be just 360p right now.... it should be 720p as soon as youtube has converted it :P

also, am wondering how this may look. 2 variants.

this has 11% more attack speed and more life, 8% higher projectile damage but 43% less physical damage (just adding physical and bow physical not including projectile). Profane chemistry gives more life from flasks and though this has a little less move speed it does take leather and steel to ignore movement penalties.

You can take away 2 attack speed nodes if you like by shadow and add 30% physical damage if that's more important. It would still be 13% less physical but 1% more attack speed and more life.

It depends on how much life it is exactly. It is the basic question of every arpg: Tankiness or Damage.
It depends on the playstyle and the equipment. For people who play poe the first time/dont have good equip it might be worth to take the extra life.

For people who are a bit more experienced dps looks better to them ... I think it is just personal preference.

If you agree I add this to the guide as a valid option.

^you have way too little life. Under 90% won't work.

It's 144% total life at very little dps cost. I don't have a calculator to figure the dps but they should be close enough that the extra life would be welcomed in any situation. Do you have a calculator or spreadsheet for the dps?

Also, I've never played crit before (have many played numerous builds but crit is generally too expensive) or bow so I'm not sure how much crit is enough. This build has 202%

You have way more physical damage for bows, but way lower life. Your build could lack the survivability ... I mean I have 126% which is not thaaaat much, but you only have 84%. That is a huge difference.
I would definetly give up some dmg for survivability, otherwise your instantly dead ...

My build offers more physical damage for EK, but yours is better in terms of arrow damage. Definetly a good build, but for my playstyle I need the higher physical damage.
Still a good build

Edit: Either it is a bug that I cant see it properly, or our builds are nearly the same ?! Oo

Yeah, it is your build. I just modified the tree to get more life.

It also has more attack speed (which can be subbed for damage to be nearly equal keeping the life) also has no move speed penalty for armor, a little more proj damage and has life from flask increase.
