EK Effect and AA display bug

Russel, you're awesome, and I love all your work. But please, can we get an EK effect that doesn't look ridiculous? I have the MTX, and even with it, it looks silly. Something like a "wave" of Force or somesuch, maybe in blue/purple (common colour for Force Effects)? Would look like a spell instead of odd green thingies.
If you're busy, maybe at least making the existent ones partially transparent or something?

Also, Arctic Armor MTX stopped working since 1.2. It just does the Ground Ice with no other graphical effect at all. Personally, I don't mind that, but it's a bug.
