Actually, they don't even need to implement a slot for leggings... they could just make it so that the torso armor could provide enough cover for the legs...

In Dark Souls 2 I am wearing a brutal heavy top armor and the pants look like a skirt. It looks awesome combined together. I wish they bring something like this to PoE. The Grandmaster armor set is very very Dark Soul'ish anyway. I love it, but we need more.

Want to know why it keeps coming up? It is quite simple.. Who makes a game with out pants?

I have two Templar characters named AtziriStoleMyPants and TooHornyToWearPants.
They both disapprove of this idea.
As a practicing fencer, however, I have to admit that a man without pants fighting melee would not live very long. Maybe his faith keeps him from bleeding out of all those little cuts and bites.

It became sort of a legacy feature, I would cry to see it go away. However, there are some types of armor that do include pants even for Templar, Sacrificial garb is one of them I think.
