Vorici mission and summoners

It's just impossible to do vorici's mission with summons. I tried a few times but i couldnt do it. The zombies just jump on the guards which automatically leads to a failed mission.

any tips ?

Right. So try a different build. You can have up to 24 characters free of charge. Use them.

or invite someone on /global 820 to do it for you. Everybody wins.

I did it with my summoner. The trick is to lure the guards away one by one. Run in, encounter a guard and run out. A bit tedious but with luck, doable i guess. Will use my other characters for vorici mission in future tho

Well I did both the keep the guards alive mission and the keep on low-life for 10 seconds as a summoner. It took me a few times to keep Xandro on Lowlife though :P was hard to tell when I had to attack him a bit again, but worked out.

For the keep guards alive one it is best to just drop your zombies and kill him just with spectres. Also a decoy totem can work, since it is far more attractive for the guards than for the mark.

But yeah I recommend using another char for Vorici... well unless you don't really care or like the challange^^

Yeah I get the vibe these masters all favor a particular type of character build each. And even then they all have some stuff that's manageable for all builds.

For instance, as an EK crit shadow, I don't struggle much with any of Cat's or Tora's missions, but Haku make me shit bricks and I'll be damned if Elreon's aren't a pain in the dick entirely.

They all have different sweet spots.

Vorici's missions are poorly designed. Either of the "keep x alive" ones simply doesn't work with the way ARPG games are designed. Even my single target skills do some kind of multi target. ::shrug:: Guess that's what happens when you need to make one of the better masters a slow grind. Rest of the patch is amazing.

Yep. I absolutely hate escort quests... and these are basically escort quests on drugs.
