From FAQ to find logs:

1) Right click the wrapper (PoE.app)->Show contents
2) Navigate to Contents / Resources / Logs
3) The LastRunWine.log and LastRunX11.log are often needed when troubleshooting

Copy and paste those logs here now or after you crash again. Please use .

You could also state whether you get any error messages like "Bad allocation" or certain file errors or such.

Please post crash logs if you can. See FAQ for instructions. Or you could try earlier version of the port, like 3.8.
^ For 4.1. just double-click the downloaded file to mount virtual disk. You should get a white window with PoE.app in there. To install, drag that file to Applications. Move Content.ggpk (see FAQ) from previous installation or double-click PoE.app in Applications folder (or where you installed it) to begin full download.
